tracing updateform

by tom, July 14, 2005 11:15

This statement: <!--UPDATEFORM TABLE=main, KEY=ID, 'Title', 'Author', "CDRL Number" 'number', "Document Number" 'dnum', 'revision', OPTIONLIST=("File Type" Filetype' = doc, ppt, xls, mpp, pdf, obd, mdl, txt, zip), CHECKBOX=("Submitted" SUBMITTED, 1, 0) -->

is producing: DATABASE ERROR: 37000 [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Syntax error in UPDATE statement.

So I added TRACE: <!--UPDATEFORM TABLE=main, KEY=ID, 'Title', 'Author', "CDRL Number" 'number', "Document Number" 'dnum', 'revision', OPTIONLIST=("File Type" Filetype = doc, ppt, xls, mpp, pdf, obd, mdl, txt, zip), CHECKBOX=("Submitted" SUBMITTED, 1, 0), TRACE -->

per the user's guide... that just causes another field (TRACE) to show up on the update form.

I've tried lowercase (trace), $trace$, TRACE="ON", TRACE='ON', etc... no luck. Haven't found an example anywhere... help!

Version 2.1b
